Welcome to House of Light restaurant – a cozy grill bar in the heart of Jūrmala!

House of Light restaurant in Jūrmala is the perfect spot to unwind from the daily hustle, savor a delicious meal, or enjoy a refreshing drink.

We take pride in our cozy and elegant atmosphere, perfect for romantic dinners for two, family celebrations, and private events.

Families with children are also welcomed, as the restaurant has taken care of a separate paintable children's menu, an attractive children's corner, an outdoor children's playground and a changing table for the little ones.

At House of Light, you can order everything – from delicious snack platters, fresh salads, and a variety of hot dishes to homemade lemonades and other drinks.

We provide transport for banquet delivery.

We offer service staff for your event, if necessary.

We especially look forward to welcoming you to our brunches, which take place every Sunday from 11:00 to 14:00. For €30 for adults and €15 for children aged 6 to 12, you can enjoy a wide range of delicacies and a wonderful atmosphere. Little guests up to 5 years old are welcome to enjoy brunch for free. It's the perfect way to start Sunday with family and friends!

Lovely designed spacious restaurant with great range of food choices. Started with Scallops fried in butter on a green pea puree and a mint, mango and strawberry salsa. The Lamb shashlik with assorted pickled vegetables was tasty as was the Salmon fillet steamed in coconut milk with Tom-Yum prawns and a passion fruit sauce. Staff are friendly and the dishes are nicely presently with fresh local salads

Our waiter Ronald was excellent – personal, warm, kind, and with a good sense of humor. The food was very good. My tomato soup was exceptional – light and aromatic with a slight peppery finish. The added garnishes gave texture to this creamy dish. The salad was FRESH and very tasty.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a long time. The reason was the design. I like it very much, it is such a beautiful place. I just wanted to sit there and eat something light. And that's exactly what I did – the avocado and spinach soup along with iced coffee was a great choice. It's definitely worth visiting if you like places with great design.
